Ericsson Appoints Lars Sandstrom as New CFO, Successor to Carl Mellander
On Tuesday, Swedish telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson announced the appointment of Lars Sandstrom as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding long-time company veteran Carl Mellander. Sandstrom, currently the CFO and a member of the executive team at Getinge (GETIb.ST) since 2017, is set to assume his new role on April 1 and will be based in Sweden.
Ericsson had previously disclosed Mellander’s intention to step down by the end of the first quarter of 2024. The transition in leadership comes as looks forward to a new chapter under the financial stewardship of Lars Sandstrom.
