Akash Palkhiwala, a veteran within Qualcomm since his inception in 2001, will not only continue to oversee financial matters but will also spearhead the global go-to-market organization, operations, and information technology.
Palkhiwala’s extensive experience within the San Diego, California-based company positions him ideally for this expanded role. The chips, integral to smartphones and virtual reality headsets, are fundamental components in devices manufactured by industry giants such as Samsung Electronics and Alphabet’s Google.
