Unleashing the Power of Low-Light Excellence: Insta360 Ace Pro Action Cam Dominates in Nighttime Video Capture!

Insta360 Innovative Expansion:

Insta360 Ace & Ace Pro - Action Cameras for Unbeatable Image Quality

Insta360, renowned for its innovative 360-degree cameras and user-friendly AI features for effortless video editing, is expanding its product line with the introduction of the Insta360 Ace series—a departure from the conventional action camera design.

Diverse Offerings:

Insta360 Ace Pro: premium image quality in the smartest action camera!
The series comprises two models: the $450 Ace Pro (£430, AU$729) and the more budget-friendly $380 Ace (£360, AU$609). Key differentiators between the two include sensor size, lens quality, and charging speed. The Ace Pro boasts a larger 1/1.3-inch image sensor and a Leica-co-engineered wide-angle lens for superior image quality, while the Ace features a slightly smaller 1/2-inch sensor. Additionally, the Ace Pro charges fully in just 46 minutes with a 30-watt charger, whereas the Ace takes 70 minutes.

Notably, the Ace Pro’s image sensor matches that of DJI’s Osmo Action 4 and surpasses GoPro’s Hero 12 Black, offering a 1/1.9-inch sensor. This larger sensor contributes to enhanced image quality, allowing the Ace Pro to shoot in impressive 8K resolution at 24 frames per second—outperforming competitors in video resolution.

The Ace Pro’s capabilities extend beyond traditional video capture, showcasing features like Clarity Zoom for digital zooming, high-resolution frame grabs, and the ability to capture 48-megapixel photos in JPEG or DNG raw. Leveraging a 5-nanometer AI chip for denoising, the PureVideo mode excels in low-light conditions, providing cleaner and clearer video with improved brightness and dynamic range, a significant advantage over other action cameras.

Enhanced User Experience:

Additional features include a 2.4-inch flip-up touchscreen, allowing for convenient selfie shooting and improved visibility when the camera is mounted above or below the sightline. Active HDR video, cancel recording function, and the ability to pause and resume recordings for on-the-fly editing further enhance the user experience.

The Ace Pro introduces integration with Garmin devices and Apple Watch, making it the first action camera with dedicated support for attaching GPS, speed, and other data to videos. The camera retains standard features such as a waterproof body (up to 33 feet), FlowState image stabilization, and AI editing assistance through the mobile app.

A notable design element is the quick-release mount, employing the same clip-on design as Insta360’s other cameras. This design facilitates effortless transitions between mounts, with a special mount required for quick switches between horizontal and vertical shooting.
